Update: All four lanes of Route 83 Re-opened Following Serious Crash

Update: 645 p.m.: All lanes have been re-opened.

Update 4:55 p.m.: Life Star was canceled and the patient is being transported to Hartford Hospital. The road will be closed until about 6 p.m. due to a police investigation.

All four lanes of Route 83 between Merline and Regan roads are closed as crews respond to a serious crash, according to Vernon Police.

Life Star was responding to the scene.
