VERNON, CT — A crash at a busy interchange in Vernon is causing havoc with the Wednesday morning commute, police said.
The crash took place at about 8:30 a.m., police said.
Officers and other emergency personnel rushed to the scene on Reservoir Road (Route 31) at the bottom of the Interstate 84 Exit 67 westbound off-ramp.
Police said "significant delays" will be in effect.
"Please avoid the area if possible and seek alternate routes," police said.
