The first-ever Tolland County Ag Day will take place on June 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Tolland County Agricultural Center in Vernon.
This community-wide celebration of agriculture will feature a farmers’ market, Touch-A-Truck, interactive exhibits, and other activities for both children and adults alike. Visitors will discover the many ways agriculture supports food systems, environmental stewardship, and daily life. Admission to the grounds is free, with many children’s activities provided complimentary.
Participating exhibitors will showcase Tolland County programs and organizations that serve the region, creating a unique opportunity for the public to connect directly with the people and missions behind these efforts. Several local nonprofit organizations joining the event include the Eastern Connecticut Beekeepers Association, Tolland County Robotics Foundation, Tolland County Farm Bureau, and Strong Family Farm, along with many other organizations and exhibitors that support agriculture, education, conservation, and community engagement throughout the region.
Tolland County Ag Day offers attendees an opportunity to explore the diversity of agriculture in Tolland County — from farming and conservation to technology and education — while meeting the organizations, volunteers, and businesses helping strengthen the local agricultural community.
Proceeds from Tolland County Ag Day support the Tolland County Agricultural Center, helping maintain and improve facilities used year-round to deliver educational programs, environmental programming, and public events — and ensuring this inaugural celebration becomes a lasting tradition.
