Meal Prices Rising In Vernon Public Schools

VERNON, CT — Prices for full meals at schools in Vernon will be going up in Vernon for the 2026-27 academic year.

The announcement was made Friday.

• Current price: $3.25
• 2026-27 price: $3.50

Middle school

• Current price: $3.50
• 2026-27 price: $3.75

High school

• Current price: $3.75
• 2026-27 price: $4

Breakfast

Elementary schools:

• Current price: $2
• 2026-27 price: $2.25

Middle school

• Current price: $2.25
• 2026-27 price: $2.50

High school

• Current price: $2.50
• 2026-27 price: $2.75

The new pricing will; not affect those on free and reduced plans.
