VERNON, CT — Five former Rockville High School athletic greats spanning 21 years and representing eight sports comprise RHS's Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026, which will be honored during the school's 13th induction ceremony and social on Sunday, Sept. 20 at the school's auditorium.

This year's induction class includes three-sport athletes Thomas C. Chmielecki '96, Adrianne J. (Courchesne) Lapham '99, Amy E. Forte '98 and Samantha G. (Stalley) Penoyer '06, as well as former All-America golfer David M. French '85.

In addition to the five-person induction class, which brings the total number of inductees to 96, former RHS administrator and coach Kimberly R. Marinan will become the sixth recipient of the John R. Williams Jr. Exceptional Service Award, named in memory of the former RHS teacher and Faculty Manager.

Chmielecki played football and also wrestled and competed in track & field; Lapham played soccer, basketball and softball; Forte played soccer and basketball and ran track; and Penoyer competed in gymnastics and dance and ran track.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. and follows the 12:30 p.m. social. Tickets are priced at $20 (children 12 and younger are admitted free of charge).
