VERNON, CT — A Vernon business sold a $100,000 winning lottery ticket to an Ellington resident, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at Super Stop & Shop on Windsorville Road in Vernon for the $100,000 CA$HWORD 2ND EDITION game.
The winner, an Ellington resident, won $100,000 and cashed it in on Aug, 24, according to the Connecticut Lottery's listing.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Vernon store, making the business the local seller of the six-figure prize.
The Connecticut Lottery did not identify the winner by name in the listing.
