Vernon PD Seeking Public's Help In Identifying Suspected Shoplifter Who Hit TJ Maxx For $500 Worth Of Stuff

VERNON, CT — Vernon police are asking for the public's help identifying a person suspected of stealing more than $500 worth of merchandise from TJ Maxx.

Police said the individual pictured in a department social media post left the store without paying for the merchandise.

Anyone who recognizes the person or has information that could help identify them is asked to contact Officer Allison Rand at 860-872-9126, extension 3810.

Police advised residents not to confront or approach the individual and instead provide any information directly to police.

"Let us handle the shopping trip from here," police said.
