Lexi Real, Morgan Geisinger, Lila Ward, Brianna Roy, and Madison Pitkin had hits for Vernon-Rockville. Real had 10 strikeouts in the victory. For South Windsor, standout players were Veronica Veilleux, Victoria Atwood, Julissa Claudio, and Aricka Boosa.

He was awarded by Mayor Moran of Manchester, CT for protecting the Monarch Butterflies through the Mayor's Monarch Pledge! He has a heart to teach kids and adults about the environment and conservation through books and experiences that both young and old can participate in and help protect the environment!
