Another Windsor Avenue Business Getting A Facelift In Vernon
Another Route 83 parcel is being renovated in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — Another commercial property along the Windsor Road stretch of Route 83 in Vernon is getting a facelift.
Signs in front of the Gulf Station at 41 Windsor Ave. this week proclaimed the property not only closed for renovations, but being primed for a "deli and grill" that would be "coming soon." The property had been featuring gas and a small convenience store.
The business has new ownership, which plans on making some interior renovations for a food counter and coffee station, Vernon Economic Development Coordinator Shaun Gately said Friday.

During the fall, at the plaza across the street, Rockville Pharmacy and a Dollar Tree both moved into the former Veggie World, which was also the former Hartmann's market. The drug store relocated from Downtown Rockville and the Dollar Tree came to Vernon from Ellington.
