BCR Eliminated from Division III Hockey Tournament

Six boys basketball tournament games involving teams from north central Connecticut were played Thursday, with the locals emerging victorious in four of them.

Northwest Catholic, Bloomfield and Granby Memorial each won their Class M second-round games, while Simsbury was victorious in Class LL. Glastonbury and East Hartford were both eliminated from Class LL play.

On the ice, Hall-Southington and Bolton-Coventry-Rockville-RHAM both dropped second-round contests and were eliminated in Division III action.
