BCR Skates to a 4-0 Start

BCR was a 9-0 winner on Wednesday.

Make it four straight wins to open the season for the Bolton/Coventry/Rockville hockey team.
 
And a nine spot on the scoreboard on Wednesday. 

The victim of the offensive onslaught was St. Bernard/Bacon Academy/NFA. BCR goaltender Daelon Carnelli recorded the shutout writhe 11 saves.  

Here is the scoring summary: 

First Period

• Bruce Smith from Hunter Byram at 6:51.

• Liam McGrath from Bruce Smith at 9:32. 

Second Period

• Hunter Byram from Bruce Smith and Kevin Morton at 2:26.

• Nate Tonzi from Liam McGrath at 7:46.

• Nick LeGeyt from Bruce Smith and Mason Madison at 9:48.

• Liam McGrath from Hunter Byram at 10:47.

• Zach Bearse from Seth Alexanderowicz and Nate Tonzi at 13:18.

Third Period 

• Kevin Morton from Liam McGrath at 7:53.

• Hunter Byram from Mason Madison at 8:45 

Even while letting in nine goals, St.B/Bacony/NFA goalie Anthony Zeng made 39 saves. 

"Although it was a game where BCR was on offense for the majority of the time, the BCR defense played exceptionally well and was involved in many of the goals<" BCR coach Christian Stevenson said. 

While BCR moved to 4-0, St. B/Bacon/NFA fell to 1-5. 

BCR's next game is the second game of its rivalry with Newington/Berlin/Manchester on Friday night at the Bolton Ice Palace. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. BCR recently won in overtime.
