Blue Carpet Food Drive at Rockville Stop & Shop to Benefit Hockanum Valley Community Council Food Pantry

Stop and Shop Rockville is hosting a two day Blue Carpet Food Drive beginning this morning from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and continuing tomorrow Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Staff and Volunteers from Hockanum Valley Community Council, The Vernon Police Department and the amazing folks at Stop and Shop will be on hand to fill the Hockanum Valley Food Pantry's Blue Collection Bin that will be located in front of the store.

Stop and Shop is hosting this event to mark major price reductions and sales throughout their stores and our goal is to fill the bin every hour for those in the community who may need a helping hand.
