Boston artist performing gospel blues in Rockville on April 1
Rich O'Reilly is veteran of the New England blues and roots scene

Jacob’s Well Coffeehouse, downtown Rockville's popular monthly Christian nightclub, will feature gospel blues songwriter, singer and acoustic guitarist Rich O’Reilly on Friday, April 1. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at The Oasis, a cozy renovated 1800s storefront at 3 Elm Street across the street from Central Park. Admission and refreshments are free, and dress is casual. The general public is welcome.
Based in Boston, O’Reilly composes material gleaned from life experiences as a man with a Godly worldview. He is a veteran of the New England blues and roots scene. When listening to the fusion of delta slide guitar and earthy grooves, you’ll hear the heavy influences of Son House, Fury Lewis, Mississippi Fred MacDowell and many other legends from the country/gospel blues genre.
