BREAKING: Vernon Police Seeking Armed Robber

Vernon police are seeking a man who committed an armed robbery at a grocery store adjacent to an elementary school Thursday morning.

Police responded to an armed robbery call at the Nature’s Grocery store at East Street and Route 30 around 10:40 a.m. The store is located next to the Northeast School.

The suspexct is described as a white male in his early 30s, about 6 feet tall, thin build, with red hair and facial hair. He has tattoos on both arms, and was wearing a black hat with an American flag on it.
