Business Ahoy: Yacht Broker Among 11 New Companies Registered In Vernon In July

VERNON, CT — Eleven new businesses registered with the state in Vernon in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.

The most unusual entry was Connecticut Yacht Sales LLC, which registered under the boat dealers category out of a private residence at 188 West Street on July 7.

Retail and consulting rounded out much of the rest of the list, including Noona's Dream Shop LLC and MJs Brushstrokes LLC as general merchandise retailers, and Tejas Logistics Inc and Ashley K Consulting LLC as consulting practices.

Two remodeling firms, Iron Oak Home Services LLC and Dependable Improvements LLC, also registered along Talcottville Road.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
