The St Joseph Church Men’s Club is holding a Goods &amp; Services auction in the church hall at 5pm on May 16, 2026, to raise funds for the expansion of our religious education program.
Bid Remotely or In-Person starting May 9th
·Purchase an In-Person Ticket.&nbsp;&nbsp;In Person Tickets include Food and are limited! Tickets can be purchased directly on our event site, at the church office, or after weekend Masses.
·Purchase a Remote Ticket – If you, friends, or family would like to participate in the auction remotely but will not be able to attend. Items purchased remotely can be picked up after the event in our Church Office.

Strong Family Farm Chicken Run was started 13 years ago to welcome the new baby chicks to the farm with a 5K run, 2K walk and fun kids run. In the past, approximately 200 people come to the farm to celebrate the chicks and the opening of the farm for the season. This will take place on Sunday, May 17th
with registration opening at 7:30. This has been the biggest farm fundraiser in which proceeds go towards our FREE Sunday programming for the season starting in mid-June. History comes alive at Strong Family Farm on&nbsp;a wonderful one-day opportunity for children from ages 8 to 13. Participants will be transported to the early 1860’s and “learn some really cool stuff about life, and how to survive during the Civil war.” This includes:&nbsp;·Experiencing the living conditions of the time, ·How the armies communicated, ·How they marched in formation, ·What they cooked, and much more! &nbsp;Each boy and girl will be given the name of a soldier who actually fought in the Civil War and adopt their persona for the day.

The brain child of Frank Niederwerfer, a member of the 14th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry Company G Reenactment unit. Helping Frank in delivering this program are members of the Alden Skinner Camp #45 of the Sons of Union Veterans in Rockville, 14th Connecticut Reenacting members, and volunteer help from New England Civil War Museum. 
The Civil War Day Camp takes place on Saturday, May 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $30 per participant, and pre-registration is required.
