On Campus - Vernon College Students

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• The Concert Band at Eastern Connecticut State University is amid its fall 2019 season of performance. This instrumental ensemble performs classic band literature as well as challenging works from contemporary composers. Among the student performers is Abhiram Khade of Vernon, who majors in Music and plays the trumpet.
• The women's soccer team at Eastern Connecticut State University recently began its fall 2019 season, with eight new players and 18 returning players. Among the student athletes on this year's team is number 2, Destiny Perez of Vernon, who majors in Pre-Social Work. This is Perez's first year playing as an Eastern Warrior. Her position on the field is forward.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Sophomore Izzy Lachcik of Vernon is a member of the Hawks' women's soccer team this fall. A biomedical engineering major, Lachcik graduated from the Loomis Chaffee School.
