Car Hits Pedestrian On Route 30 In Vernon
A car hit someone on foot on a busy road in Vernon Saturday.
VERNON, CT — A pedestrian was hit by a car Saturday in Vernon, police said.
The collision took place at 3:18 p.m. near the intersection of Hartford Turnpike and Merline Road, police said. Hartford Turnpike is state Route 30.
The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators.
