“Celebrate Jesus" Gala & Expo on October 29

WIHS 104.9 FM will hold its 2021 “Celebrate Jesus” Gala & Expo at the Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry Street in Southington on Friday, October 29, 2021. The Ministry Expo will open at 4:30 p.m, with the family-style Gala dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at $50 per person by calling the station at 860.346.1049 or by going online at www.WIHSradio.org.

The theme of this year’s Gala is God’s amazing, supernatural power to deliver souls from the destructive grip of addiction, which is so painfully present in our families and communities today.

Inspiring, high-energy “Gospel Doo-Wop” music and the keynote message will be shared by the Rev. Walter Santos, Pastor of Lacy Christian Assembly in Forked River, New Jersey. Santos also serves as a Chaplain for the U.S. Secret Service. He grew up in New York City and had a successful secular career as a percussionist with major bands. This led to a life of addiction and despair until singer Dion DiMucci shared the Good News and Walter’s life was transformed. Emceeing the event will be Morning On-Air Host Gerry Williams.
