College Accomplishments By Vernon Students

VERNON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named Natasha Vazquez of Vernon to the dean's list for academic excellence for the fall 2018 term. Vazquez is studying Human Services. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Nicole Cohen, of Vernon, was named to the dean's list at Tufts University for the fall 2018 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
