College Achievements By Vernon Students

VERNON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Four Springfield College students from Vernon were named to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2018 term: Chloe Campellone, studying Health Science and Pre-Physical Therapy; Ian Macala, studying Health Science/Occupational Therapy; Mackenzie Correia, studying Health Science/Occupational Therapy; and Sarah Bannon, studying Health Science/Occupational Therapy. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Four students from Vernon have been named to the University of Saint Joseph Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Melissa DeBella, Anna Lindblom, Lindsey Montminy and Morgan Skoly. Students who are awarded this academic achievement have earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a “B.”
