College Notes: Achievements By Vernon Students

Asnuntuck Community College, Enfield CT

• Asnuntuck Community College has announced that Michael LaFlamme and Kurt Lee, both of Vernon, have achieved Dean’s List status for the spring 2019 semester.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Two students from Vernon were named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Western Connecticut State University. They are Adam Muzsi, majoring in Accounting, and Tashai Price, majoring in Justice and Law Administration.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Jacob Ganoe of Vernon, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in biomedical engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2019 semester. A total of 1,598 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's spring 2019 Dean's List, which differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.
