Cornerstone Again Offering Free Prom Attire For Students
The annual Cornerstone Prom Boutique provides high school students with free dresses, suits, and accessories during prom season.

VERNON, CT — Cornerstone is hosting its 11th-annual Prom Boutique event, offering free prom attire to high school students. The event is designed to ensure all students can attend their prom night without financial barriers.
The Prom Boutique is located at 1C Prospect Street in Vernon-Rockville. It features a selection of more than 500 prom dresses, along with suits, shoes, evening bags, and jewelry. The items range from gently used to brand new conditions.
Cornerstone will open the Prom Boutique on multiple dates. Students can visit on Saturday, March 28, from 1 to 4 p.m., and Friday, April 3, from 2 to 5 p.m. Additional dates include Tuesday, April 14, from noon to 2 p.m., and Wednesday, April 15, from noon-2 p.m.

The boutique will also be open on Friday, April 17, from 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These various times aim to accommodate student schedules.
Cornerstone established the Prom Boutique 1o years ago. The organization noted that students were seeking prom dresses at the Clothing Bank, Etc., which inspired the creation of a dedicated event. The initiative seeks to provide an opportunity for every student to experience prom.
