VERNON, CT — A crash at a Vernon package store led to a drunken driving charge for a 67-year-old woman right down the street from her residence, an arrest report indicates.

Lynn Russell, who lives on the 1200 block of Hartford Turnpike, was arrested on July 3 at the Whiskey and Wine Package Store on the 1000 block of Hartford Turnpike, according to an arrest report. Police were summoned there after a crash took place in the parking lot records indicate.
