Driver Found Passed Out In Running Car Near Vernon Monument: Cops
A driver was passed out in a running vehicle on a steep hill at a Vernon park, police said.

VERNON, CT — A driver was located passed out in his running vehicle in Henry Park last week, Vernon police said.
At 21 minutes before midnight on Aug 17, an officer on patrol noticed the driver asleep near the Fox Hill Tower. When the officer began questioning the driver, he noticed a strong odor of alcohol and administered sobriety tests, which the driver failed, according to an arrest report.
The 37-year-old driver, who lives a short distance from the park in Vernon, was charged with driving under the influence, according to an arrest report.
