Driver Injured In Early Morning Rollover Crash In Vernon
The crash took place shortly after 2 a.m. on Vernon Avenue, according to police.

VERNON, CT — Police are investigating the cause of a crash early Friday morning in which a car struck a telephone pole and rolled over onto its side, injuring the driver.
The crash in the 200 block of Vernon Avenue took place around 2:02 a.m., and involved a Honda Accord. The driver, a 27-year-old Vernon resident, was still inside the car, and was removed through the sunroof. He was taken to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Lt. Rob Marra said.
Eversource Energy responded to the scene to secure the pole and make the scene safe, Marra said.
