Field of Flags: Flags will be placed starting at 8:00 am Friday August 24th, 2012 on the grounds of the First Congregational Church of Vernon, to honor each fallen soldier in Iraq/Afghanistan and displayed until Thursday September 13, 2012. The flags will be placed by the local Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. The Field of Flags will be dedicated on Sunday, August 26th at the 10:00am Worship service.
