Motivational life-choices speaker Sarah Panzau will discuss the power of making good and bad decisions at Rockville High School. The one-hour presentation is mandatory for all sophomore, junior and senior students.
Sarah was a competitive athlete but began heading down a destructive path. Sarah will recount the day her car - and her life - spun out of control. With a blood-alcohol level nearly four times the legal limit, the 21-year-old decided to drive home drunk, missed a highway exit and rolled her car four times. Sarah delivers a presentation that poignantly describes the physical and emotional pain of a life that is forever changed because of the poor decisions she made.
By sharing her story, she hopes to impress upon audiences the importance of making the right choices - not to drink before they are 21, respect their parents, learn the meaning of "real" friends and rise above disabilities.
