The Vernon Senior Center is offering a movie matinee on Monday, December 19th at 1:00 pm. The Center shows the movies on our wide screen television and serves free popcorn. The feature is Water for Elephants. The movie is an American romantic drama based on the Sara Gruen’s novel. It stars Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Christoph Walz. The film takes place during the Great Depression. It is about a veterinary student who abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their veterinarian.
