Family Worship Night at Jacob's Well on Friday, August 5

Free event to be held in air conditioned "Oasis" storefront next to Union Church

Jacob’s Well Coffeehouse, downtown Rockville’s monthly Christian nightclub, will host "Family Worship Night" with the Union Church Praise Band and members of the Daughters of Zion dance team on Friday, August 5. Doors will open 30 minutes earlier than usual, at 6:30 p.m., with the event starting at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at The Oasis, a cozy, air conditioned 1800s storefront adjacent to Union Church, 3 Elm Street in the Rockville section of Vernon. Admission and refreshments are free. Dress is casual.

The Union Church Praise Band's repertoire is a mix of traditional and contemporary Christian music. The band includes vocals, keyboards, guitar, violin, saxophone, trombone and percussion. Daughters of Zion is a local Christian dance group comprised of young ladies who aim to bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ through dance. Serving as emcee for the evening will be Chris Ramos, Music Director at Union Church. An inspirational message will be shared by Dr. Rev. Christian Cuthbert, Senior Pastor of Union Church.
