Federal Investigators Descend on Home in Vernon

Police said they could not comment on the federal activity in the Rockville Section of Vernon.

VERNON, CT — Federal investigators descended on a home on Highland Avenue in the Rockville section of Vernon Wednesday morning.

Neighbors tipped Patch off to the presence of what was described as a multi-agency task force in the vicinity of 21 Highland Ave.

Vernon police confirmed the presence of federal authorities on the road but said they did not assist and said they could not elaborate further.

FBI Community Outreach Specialist Charles Grady said he could not discuss the investigation.
