Fire Breaks Out At Vernon Home Wednesday Morning

VERNON, CT — A fire broke out at an Allison Road residence in Vernon Wednesday morning, police said.

The incident was reported at 6:07 a.m. at 19 Allison Road.

According to Tolland County 911, the house was quickly evacuated. The fire was in a wall and was vented through the roof, according to Tolland County 911.

The scene was under control in less than an hour, officials at the scene said.

The cause is being investigated, officials said.
