Two neighboring parcels with different classifications are for sale in Vernon.
VERNON, CT — A former car wash and a neighboring home on Route 83 have gone on the market in Vernon.
The car wash building is located at 21 Windsor Avenue on the fringe of the Rockville section of town. It closed in 2022 when Valvoline bought out the Mr. Sparkle chain and has sat vacant ever since.
According to commercial real estate website Crezi.com, the asking price is $475,000. The building has two bays and measures 2,750 square feet, plus 200 square feet of "office space," according to the listing.

According to the residential web portal Zillow, the circa 1900 residential dwelling at 25 Windsor Ave. is going for $300,000. It features four bedrooms, a single bathroom and measures 1,376 square feet.
For the winter, it has a wood stove and for the warmer months, a stone patio.
