Former Rockville High School Principal Arrested Again

He was also arrested in 2012 while an administrator in Vernon.

TORRINGTON — A Southington man who is an administrator in the Torrington school system and a former Vernon administrator is facing a breach of peace charge after an April harassment incident at Torrington High School, the Record-Journal reported.

It is his second brush with the law since 2012, when he was in hot water as a high school principal in Vernon for a drunken driving incident.

Eric Baim, 41, of 200 Butternut Lane, Southington, was charged Thursday with second-degree breach of peace.

Baim is the director of secondary education for Torrington Public Schools.

Baim went to Torrington three years ago after stepping down as principal of Rockville High School in Vernon in the wake of an arrest in Berlin for driving under the influence in August 2012.

He received a 10-day suspension for the incident in February 2013.

In August 2013, he accepted the job in Torrington.
