Free At Last Players Perform at the Unitarian Universalist Society in Manchester
Free at Last Players Battle the Stigma of Mental Illness through Education and Performance Art

The Unitarian Universalist Society: East (UUS:E) will present The Free at Last Players on Tuesday, May 19 at 7 p.m.
The Free At Last Players are a non-profit theater group that was first established in 1989. Their mission is to educate people about mental illness and to combat its stigma.
The players create and perform frank, poignant and sometimes funny skits, songs and poetry to dispel the myths and misconceptions that surround mental illness. The group consists of members who – whether they are mentally ill or not – recognize that every person deserves to be seen as just that: a person, with strengths and weaknesses just like anyone else.
The performance will be held at 153 Vernon Street West, Manchester, CT 06042. Admission is free and open to teens and adults. A goodwill offering will be accepted. For more information visit the Unitarian Universalist Society East website or call 860-646-5151. For more information about the Free At Last Players, visit the group on Facebook.
Unitarian Universalist Society: East is a welcoming, open-minded, spiritual community seeking truth and meaning in its many forms.
