VERNON, CT — The 2022 holiday season officially began in Vernon Friday night with the annual Winterfest celebration.

Music by carolers and the band from Rockville High School kicked off the festivities, which also included a fire truck parade, the annual tree lighting, lighting the wreath on town hall, illuminating Central Park and lighting the star on the Fox Hill Tower.

And the Santa House.
