Gronk, Brady Part of Maple Street School Football Raffle

A unique football raffle is being staged at Maple Street School in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — Passes From Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski and then to Maple Street School in Vernon have turned into a unique fundraising raffle.

Maple Street School Principal Joshua Egan said school and its PTO will be raffling off two Tampa Bay Buccaneers footballs. One is autographed by quarterback Tom Brady, the other is autographed by tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Egan said both footballs were sent to him by his college roommate, who is one of the assistant video directors for the Bucs. Both footballs are authenticated by James Spence Authentication.

Egan said the first name chosen will win the Brady football, the second name chosen will win the Gronk football.

The money collected will be going toward the Maple Street Student Activity account and a portion of the proceeds will also be going into our Maple Street Schools PTO account, he said.

Both accounts serve as funding for student activities throughout the years, Egan said.
