Hall Outlasts Rockville After Volleyball Match Goes Five Games

Rockville and Hall high schools hooked up for a wild volleyball match on Friday, and after five close games, Hall prevailed.

Hall took the first game 25-20, then Rockville stormed back to take the lead, 25-23 and 25-20.

Hall then took the fourth and fifth games by the count of 25-23 and 15-9, respectively.

For Rockville, Amy Eitelman had 23 assists, and Danielle Wemmell had 15 kills.

For Hall, Sarah Smith had 15 assists and served up a half-dozen aces. Lianna showed some diversity with six digs and four kills.

Hall improved to 2-7 while Rockville fell to 3-7.
