Hallucinogens Seized After Vernon Traffic Stop

VERNON, CT — Vernon police confiscated hallucinogens after a traffic stop on West Main Street a report indicates.

Information on the April 25 incident was released Monday.

At 5:43 p.m. on April 25, a Ford Mustang was stopped on West Main for a lane violation, according to a report. The car was not registered, was uninsured and four bags of PCP were located outside the passenger side of the vehicle, according to a report.

A passenger, identified as 33-year-old Nicholas Cabrera, of Hartford, took ownership of the drugs and received a possession charge, according to a report.

In addition to the motor vehicle charges, the driver, 32-year-old Hartford resident David Diaz. was charged with driving under the influence after failing sobriety tests, according to a report.
