Hawley to perform in Rockville on June 3

Music therapist from the Boston area will sing contemporary Christian music

Jacob’s Well Coffeehouse, downtown Rockville’s monthly Christian nightclub, will feature contemporary Christian music by singer and guitarist Emily Hawley on Friday, June 3. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at The Oasis, a cozy, renovated 1800s storefront adjacent to Union Church, 3 Elm Street in the Rockville section of Vernon. Admission is free. Dress is casual.

Now residing in Methuen, Massachusetts, Hawley grew up in Vernon and sang in the Union Church praise band for several years. She is a Board-Certified Music Therapist who works with a wide variety of individuals and groups, while specializing in services for adolescents with an array of social and emotional needs. She has helped to facilitate several self-care workshops and presentations on utilizing music to promote wellness in everyday life.
