Hazardous Material Collection Options Available For Vernon Residents

VERNON, CT — Here are the remaining 2023 hazardous waste collection dates for Vernon residents.

Vernon residents may dispose of hazardous waste on the following dates:

• Sept. 16
• Oct. 21
• Nov. 18

All collection dates are Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Capitol Region East Hazardous Waste facility, which is adjacent to the Manchester Landfill at 321 Olcott St.

In addition, there will be a collection on Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. 1 p.m. at Somers High School.
