VERNON, CT — The latest installment of the Hidden Gems series takes us to the North Pole, er, Down Rockville, in the shadow of Vernon's town hall.

There, for most of the month of December, is a gathering place for youngsters to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus in a personal setting.

Welcome to Vernon's Santa House.
