High-End Home Sales In Tolland County Vary Widely By Community In January

TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — High-end home sales in Tolland County varied widely by community in January, with large single-family homes in established neighborhoods commanding the highest prices, according to sales data reported by Zillow.

In Tolland, the month’s most expensive sale was a four-bedroom home at 16 Julia Road, which sold for $920,000 on Jan. 27. The 4,600-square-foot residence topped all January transactions in the county, Zillow records show.

In Vernon, a four-bedroom property at 175 Blue Ridge Drive led local sales, closing for $650,000 on Jan. 30. The sale stood well above other January transactions in the town, reflecting continued demand for larger homes, according to Zillow.

In Mansfield, the highest January sale was a three-bedroom home at 685 Wormwood Hill Road, which sold for $609,550 on Jan. 28. Zillow data show the property ranked among the town’s priciest recent residential transactions.

In Bolton, a four-bedroom house at 124 Notch Road was the town’s most expensive January sale, fetching $475,000 on Jan. 28. Other Bolton sales during the month closed at notably lower prices, Zillow reported.

In Ellington, January’s top sale was more modest by comparison. A condominium unit at 14 Pinney St., Unit 24, sold for $149,000, making it the highest reported January transaction in the town on Zillow’s sold listings.

The highest-priced reported home sale in January 2026 for Stafford was 74 Crooked S Road, a three-bedroom, two-bath single-family home that sold for $562,500 on Jan. 5. In Willington, available recent sales data show a Jan. 5 closing at 65 Blair Road for $171,000 as the top price.

Zillow data indicate that January’s priciest sales were concentrated in a handful of towns, underscoring price disparities across Tolland County’s housing market as buyers continue to compete for larger, higher-end homes.
