Hockanum Valley Community Council Announces Deadline for Holiday Meal Sign Ups.....
This is your final opportunity to sign up and ensure your family a holiday meal through the HVCC Food Pantry...
Hockanum Valley Community Council will be conducting final sign ups during normal Food Pantry Hours through Friday, October 21st at noon. Our goal, in association with our many partner agencies and donors is to ensure that no family in the Tri-Town area goes hungry this holiday season. There is no guarantee that your family will receive a meal after this Friday's deadline. You need to sign up this week.
We will have additional volunteers and staff available through Friday for sign ups and the process only takes a few minutes. The HVCC Food Pantry is located at 29 Naek Road in Vernon and you are reminded to bring photo identification when you come in. Pantry clients are reminded that you are NOT automatically signed up and you must register for the holiday meals program.
The HVCC Food Pantry is open Monday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am to Noon & 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to Noon.
