Marshall, who also played one season of varsity soccer as a freshman, appeared in all 88 possible basketball games for the Rams between 1992 and 1996, helping her teams to a combined overall record of 58-30, including 41-15 in CCC East games, and into the Class LL state tournament in each of her final three seasons. Behind Marshall and 2018 RHS Hall of Fame inductee Amanda Deveny-McNamar in 1994-95, the Rams clinched their first CCC East title since 1989 when they unseated five-time defending champion Manchester. In the clinching win over South Windsor — which culminated in seven straight victories to end the regular season — Marshall had 17 points which matched her total from the conference opener several months earlier.
In addition to earning All-CCC East honors three times, Marshall was voted to the Class LL/L East team at the CHSCA Senior All-Star Basketball Festival in 1996.
Marshall holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration from Florida A&M and a master's degree in Social Work from Simmons College. Since 2014, she has been employed as Executive Director at Rethink New Orleans Schools and has been emersed in relief efforts recently in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. She resides in New Orleans.
