Horowitz Pool Open House Scheduled For Next Week
Mayor Dan Champagne and the Vernon Town Council are slated to host an open house for the new Horowitz Pool at Henry Park next week.
VERNON, CT — Mayor Dan Champagne and the Vernon Town Council are slated to host an open house for the new Horowitz Pool at Henry Park next week.
The event is on tap for Thursday, Sept. 12, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Work continues on the pool and bath house and the facility will open next summer for
swimming. Swimming will not be available during the open house.

"So many people have told me they are looking forward to having a new Horowitz Pool and I
wanted our residents to be able to get a look at the facility before we button it up for the
winter," Champagne said. "We had hoped to open the pool this summer, but a number
of construction challenges prevented that. We're in the home stretch now."
