Hours Extended At Rockville Public Library
The Rockville Public Library has new hours.
VERNON CT — The Rockville Public Library is expanding its hours and is now open Saturdays. It also has a new set of hours.
The library’s hours are now:
Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

- Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Vernon Mayor Dan Champagne said of the extension, "As the pandemic eases and we begin to get back to
normal, I am glad we are able to expand the hours during which our residents can take advantage of the
library’s collection and the many services it offers."
The library is "all about being there to address residents’ needs, and adding Saturday hours makes us that
much more accessible to people who may not be able to make it during the work week," Library Director
Jennifer Johnston-Marius said.
