How to Dispose of Christmas Trees In Vernon

VERNON, CT — Officials in Vernon have outlined Christmas tree disposal procedures for 2023.

Christmas trees will be collected curbside during the first two full weeks in January, weather-permitting.

In addition, the Vernon Transfer Station will be accepting Christmas trees for disposal the entire month of January, with no permit or punch card required.

Decorations, tinsel and plastic bags must be removed from all trees.
