It was a Day of Hats, Cats and a Lot of Reading in Vernon

There were Cat-in-the-Hat murals.

There were ... well, hats.

There were teachers portraying the Cat-in-the-Hat.

And there were a lot of words read - many, many books.

It was all part of the annual Read Across America celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday in Vernon schools.
