Jeep Hits Ladder On I-84 In Vernon Sunday
A car slammed into a ladder on a stretch of Interstate-84 Sunday, Connecticut State Police said.

VERNON, CT — A sport utility vehicle crashed into a ladder on a stretch of Interstate 84 in Vernon Sunday, state police said. How the ladder wound up there is a mystery, however.
According to a state police crash report, at 2:50 p.m., a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 33-year-old Glastonbury man was headed west on I-84 near Exit 67.
The Jeep came upon a ladder sitting in the right-hand lane and could no avoid it, according to a crash report.

The driver was not hurt. but the Jeep had t be towed from the scene, sate police said.
The vehicle from which the ladder became dislodged could not be located, state police said.
